My Passion

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am a dog lover!  Ever since a young child, dogs have been a big part of my life.  Kingston, a Jack Russell Terrier Mix (see photo),  is my best buddy who we rescued from a kill shelter in Alabama in 2014.  Things were so bad for Kingston in Alabama, that we even needed to have our vet remove lead pellets from his rear leg upon his arrival to our home in New Jersey.  Can you believe someone would use a dog as target practice!  So who's the animal???  Needless to say, Kingston is a big part of my life, just like his predecessor "Mo" was before he passed away after more than 16 wonderful years with us.

 

Unfortunately, not everyone has as much love for Man's Best Friend, and some are even downright cruel to them which is heart-breaking.  It's hard to understand how a person can be so barbaric towards a defenseless animal who wants nothing more than to be your friend.  Sub-human would be the best way to describe such a person, but let me step down from my soapbox now!

 

I have been fortunate enough throughout my career to be able to donate considerable resources to various charities of interest and I am proud to say that a good share of my charitable giving has gone towards animal-related organizations.  Which brings me to the point of this page...

 

With each of my real estate transactions and consulting gigs, I donate a portion of my income to a pet rescue organization of my client's choice.  If they don't have a favorite, I will suggest one of mine such as Austin Pets Alive or ThisIsHouston, both in Texas.  These organizations do an incredible job rescuing dogs in need of help in one of the toughest states for pets!
